The ‘mysterious’ conflict that has pitched once upon a time bosom friends, Governor Adams Oshiomhole and money man Captain Hosa Okunbo against each other has intensified.

Information filtering in has it that the duo steadfastly maintaining not to have anything to do with each other.

And like they have maintained since they chose opposing paths, they refused to share details of engagement(s) that threw them apart.

But information wafting out from quarters close to them links the discord that has taken old of their enviable friendship to pact made with former president Goodluck Jonathan.

According to snippets here and there, Captain Okunbo had utilised extraordinary closeness with then President Jonathan to facilitate a supposed all beneficiary arrangement with Governor Adams Oshiomhole.

The move was reportedly made on understanding that the Edo state helms man would protect the ‘interest’ of the then President within the rival political party and at a later date cross over to the People’s Democratic Party.

Captain Hosa was to later discover the Governor unwilling to reciprocate after benefitting from the engagement.

His relationship with the nation’s number one citizen at stake and feeling betrayed by the action of the person defined as his closest friend, Captain Hosa had no choice but to go on the offensive.

And seeking to protect all he has gained Governor Oshiomole reportedly countered.

The fallout out was a full blown battle of intrigues and business crippling quarrel between the duo.

A situation that looks set to further degenerate with both parties refusing intervention from mutual friends and – Okunbo’s status change as good friend of a former president and Oshimhole’s elevated status as top level member of party in charge of the Federal Government.
