Bow your heads, close your eyes and clasp your hands together…lets pray.

May we never lose our benefits in the midst of mindless bickering! Amen!!!

While Nigeria, especially Lagos bicker – Ghana has initiated moves to profit from the situation.

Sources disclosed that top players in Ghana are lobbying egg heads at waste management company Visionscape to bring over their operation, especially the newly imported compactors.

The trash volume reducers were recently brought in by Visionscape as part of a long-term plan to transform Lagos to the reference point as regards environmental sanitation.

Societynow.ng gathered that the waste managers are being lured with promises of “a more conducive operating environment that would boost the efficiency of service”.

The environmental utility company is facing a rootless opposition from local waste collectors been tele -guided by those who profit from state crisis in Lagos.

The opposition reached spiraled to the high point of sabotage at a point, but Visionscape has refused to throw up hands in defeat.

Rather the company is exploring ways to “keep enemies close by accommodating them, even adopting a strategy that has cut deep into it’s revenue in an attempt to make things work”.

The company wants to add Lagos to it’s growing success stories and reputation as the global definition of the provider of innovative solutions across environmental value chain across diverse industries.

And obviously, the promoters are willing to make sacrifices to achieve this.

And this is said to be the key reason the firm is not giving in to pressure from Ghana to transfer the benefits of the deal with Lagos state- even for better monetary value.

“Integrity and reputation are at stake and the company prides itself on those” a source offered.

Sources confirmed managers at Visionscape convinced lobbyists from Ghana of the need to have a proper grasp on the situation in Lagos – rather than clandestinely transferring benefits – before reaching out with proper terms and contractual agreement in place.
