Family, Friends Celebrate Venerable Sofoluwe At 65

Venerable Okanlawon John Sofoluwe just clocked 65 years – on Monday, December 9, 2019.

And in his trademark style of simple pleasures, the retired civil servant opted for a low-key birthday celebration.

The father of six children celebrated his 65th birthday with a Thanksgiving Service and reception for family and friends and well-wishers.

The event held at the Andrew Anglican Church Ibara Abeokuta – the same venue was used for reception.

One of the highlights of the celebration was the attendance by guests from Venerable Sofoluwe’s Alma- Mata, Lisa High School.

All the children of the celebrant were also in attendance.

Venerable Sofoluwe’s wife Opeoluwa, full of joy, stated the Thanksgiving Service is a means of expressing great thanks to God for the life of the celebrant and the numerous blessings bestowed on the family over the years.

 Ireti Iyiola, one of the children of the celebrant was equally full of praises to God for the life of her father and blessings bestowed by God.
