Former Interior Minister, Rauf Aregbesola, has expressed excitement as members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Labour Party (LP), and other groups joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Lagos.
In a video he shared today Aregbesola described the development as a fresh boost for the party, urging new members to see the ADC as a platform for renewal and progress.
“I am excited to welcome members of the PDP, LP and others into the ADC in Lagos. ADC! Arise and Shine!” he wrote after posting the video on his social media page.
The move comes amid growing political realignments in Lagos ahead of the 2027 general election, with the ADC positioning itself as an alternative platform for opposition forces in the state.
