Ex Gov Ali Modu Sherriff’s N948M Aircraft Impounded As Part Of Corruption Investigation

A N948m aircraft said to belong to former Borno governor Ali Modu Sherriff  is said to have been impounded.

The move is said to be part investigation into corruption by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

The private jet described as a Dornier Aircraft 328 is said to be owned by the former governor via proxy.

Investigators looked beyond the surface and book works to link it to the former governor

Detectives were reported became curious about the ownership of the private jet because of ‘’manner of purchase’’

Subsequent investigation pointed investigators to Sherriff already under investigation by the EFCC for another corruption case as the man behind the curious purchase.
