Information filtering in revealed that family, friends, sympathisers and colleagues of Actor’s Guild President, Ibinabo Fibresima are in a frenzy.

And the reason for this development is very clear, they want to help the popular actress get out of the recently validated 5year jail term slammed on her by a high court.

Ibinabo out on bail had appealed the sentence at the appellate court but rather than have it dismissed it was validated.

And she is once more back in ‘’Kirikiri’’ as she attempts to secure a fresh bail to get out of jail again while are lawyer heads to the Supreme Court to contest the judgment.

But outside of the courts family, friends and sympathisers are passionately mulling how to make the mess go away leveraging on informal approach.

Societynowng.com learnt amongst the options being thrown up is a ‘’high level’’ emissaries to visit former president Olusegun Obasanjo to wade into the matter.

‘’the thinking is that Obasanjo is a father figure..getting him involved based on his great standing with the APC government from state to federal level would make Lagos state government soften it’s hard stance and an accommodating compromise reached’’ a source stated

The case that has earned Ibinabo prison sentence is with Lagos state government.

Some however reject the former president Obasanjo option and advocate for a plea to either Asiwaju Bola Tinubu or Governor Akinwunmi Ambode.

Those advocating this line of action believe either of the two with status as power behind the throne of Lagos and man in charge of government are in better position to help achieve a soft landing than going to see ex President Olusegun Obasanjo.

Added revelations have it that others are clamouring for a groundswell rally across the state to spark off public sentiments advocating for a lesser sentence.

More revelations have it that a section of the ‘’stakeholders’’ are urging for a special plea to the family of the late Doctor Suraj Giwa, who lost his life in the reckless driving incident that sparked off the happenstance.

‘’Though the case is with the Lagos state government but the argument is that if they can get the family to make a passionate representation to government on behalf of Ibinabo, she may get a great reprieve in court’’ a source analysed.

Some are advocating for seeking out former attorney general and gubernatorial aspirant Supo Sasore, he is described as interested in the case and a favourable commitment from him would diminish the passion of Lagos state to see Ibinabo serve the judgement.

The options and counter options are still raging at press time, with moves to execute one or two already on societynowng.com learnt.

Ibinabo’s Fibresima’s journey to her present predicament started with a tragic accident in 2005 that resulted in the death of medical doctor in the employment of Lagos state government Suraj Giwa.

The car she was driving crossed lanes to ram into that of the deceased along Lekki Epe Expressway.

The magistrate court that first heard the case fined her N100.000.

In the midst of uproar here and there, the Lagos state government headed to the High Court where a prison sentence of 5years was handed down.

Ibinabo secured bail to appeal the judgement and headed to the appellate court.

But rather than got quashed, the sentence was validated.
