Drama As Gov Willie Obaino’s Wife Visits Anambra Community Where Hubby Is Unpopular!

Earlier in the week, Ebele the wife of the governor of Anambra state Willie Obiano was at the centre of a talk of the town drama.

She was guest at Ukpo, the community in Anambra which is said to serve as stronghold of opposition against her husband.

And as expected, things didn’t go as planned.

Things went overboard at a town hall meeting when the Governor’s wife reportedly credits her husband’s administration with construction of a market in the town – the Nkwo Oha.

The assertion was reportedly made at a gathering of the town’s who is who and commoners led by traditional ruler.

The governor’s wife was reportedly openly branded a liar by one of the town’s people identified as Osigwe Aghochukwu.

And according to report monitored on newsplatform, Elombha everything went down hill from there.

The first lady of the state took exception and an open altercation ensued as town’s men threw weight behind one of their own.

Maduagwu Rita, the speaker of the state house Assembly reportedly got caught in the middle of the town.

A native of Ukpo, she was said to have found self at the receiving end of the first lady’s angst in attempt to get her to calm down for the people.

“Sit down!” Was said to have been thundered on the speaker by the first lady as tension escalates.

Moves by the traditional ruler and his entourage walk out reportedly calmed the situation and a cosmetic peace effected for the event to end.

The visit to Ukpo is said to be part of the first lady’s ongoing tour of the state.

Prior to the visit of the first Lady, the administration of Governor Willie Obaino has been on the receiving end of series of attacks on and offline by people who claim to be stakeholders in Ukpo.
