One of the kings in Ondo state, Oba Yisa Olanipekun is very sad.

The state of his mind is the result of the news he was given about the planned burial of popular Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua societynow.ng learned.

Oba Olanipekun is the Zaki of Arigidi – Akoko, Ondo state –the hometown of the late founder of the immensely popular Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) better known informally as the Synagogue.

Prophet T.B Joshua passed on late in the night of Saturday June 5, 2021.

Oba Olanipekun, the king of his town has been at the forefront of the push for the internationally recognized preacher to be buried in his hometown of Arigidi societynow.ng confirmed.

The king of Arigidi – and his backers – premised his agitation on the gains of the burial putting the town on the global map, based on the attraction it would get, and in the long run transforming the burial place into a major tourist destination for followers of the teachings of Prophet T.B Joshua in different parts of the world as well as those who are interested in studying his ways.

These reasons have been rendered invalid.

The church and the immediate family have decided to bury the late Prophet T.B Joshua at the international headquarters of his ministry in Ikotun-Egbe, Lagos State.

The checks by societynow.ng revealed that this decision is the product of popular opinion among all stakeholders.

Though he is from Arigidi in Ondo state, Prophet T.B Joshua has found his path, fame and international recognitions in Lagos state.

“And he has been synonymous with the Ikotun-Egbe location of his church for as long as many can remember. He started as a nobody in that axis and rose to prominence there. That is the place presidents, kings, and captains of industries and every other kind of person come to see him and there is more than enough space for a befitting burial place for him. It is very accessible for his followers along with other key but not so pronounced gains for his ministry” societynow.ng learned some of the major reasons behind the decision to bury the popular prophet within the massive estate housing his ministry.

A formal announcement to communicate the development is expected to be made soon.

There are hints the burial will take place in July 2021.
