The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission – alleged arresting agency – has refuted the claim.

The agency tagged the story false in a chat with Daily Post and other news platforms.

The victim of the story – former governor Okorocha- also issued a press statement through his media aide insisting the development untrue and the handiwork of his political enemies to cause embarrassment.
