Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua, the founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) better known as T.B Joshua has been buried.

He was buried this afternoon, July 9, 2021, at the headquarters of his church Ikotun, Egbe Lagos.

The burial of the 57year old ended a week-long funeral rite.

One of the major allegations against Prophet T.B Joshua who died on Saturday, June 5, 2021, is that he got his powers for deliverance and miracles from traditionalists and was a member of the “old religion” sects such as the Ogboni, Osugbo, and the likes. The allegation remains the biggest against the late SCOAN founder who was hugely celebrated abroad.

He was severely accused of occult practices and fake miracles.

The checks by societynow.ng , however, revealed that none of the practitioners of the old religion who are famous for claiming the dead body of members who operated in disguise, especially popular ones, showed up at the burial of Prophet T.B Joshua – or at any of the weeklong funeral rites.

The practitioners of old religions constantly claim many preachers operate in disguise as members of their conclaves behind the scene and miracle makers in public – they have serially confirmed this by showing up at the burial of well-known evangelists who were of their fold including that of a popular pastor who had a whole album dedicated to the efficacy of his “faith” by the reigning gospel singer of his period.

But this has proven not to be so in the case of Prophet T.B Joshua who was severally accused by fellow preachers of getting his powers from the old religions.

“Rather it has been a weeklong testimony of how he has impacted lives of individuals, family, and communities” societynow.ng learned.

The testimonials and emerging revelations of good deeds have given him far greater acceptability than he ever enjoyed when he was alive.

The checks by societynow.ng, however, revealed that this development is in the face of claims of verifiable proofs of the Prophet’s gaffes in “deliverances and miracles” over the years as well as “spot-on prophecies”.

The burial of the man in the synagogue as the SCOAN founder is popularly known in some quarters whose death attracted reactions from leaders of countries including President Muhammadu Buhari had in attendance dignitaries from all over the world shown live to millions of viewers.
