Emerging details have revealed Ogun state governor Ibikunle Amosun is now a major player in the transport sector of the nation’s economy.

Sources in the know just confided in societynow.ng the politician who is returning to the Senate at the expiration of his tenure as governor is investing heavily in the haulage business.

Findings showed the Ogun state helmsman a couple of weeks back took delivery of all of 50 high capacity trucks to boost the operation of the haulage business.

Checks equally revealed the newly purchased trucks to be brand new.

An investigation conducted by societynow.ng revealed the number of trucks in the fleet of the business before the new addition to be about 35 trucks.

According to checks the new acquisitions cost the governor Amosun over N2billion.

His influential brother Abidoye Ajani Amosun popularly known as Alhaji Agba is said to be overseeing the business on his behalf.

Governor Amosun’s second term tenure as governor of Ogun State ends on May 29 2019.

And interestingly he would be handing over to Prince Dapo Abiodun, the estranged friend he vowed would never succeed him.
