Details As Ambode Is Accused Of Edging Out ‘’Leaders’’ In The Midst Of Projects Commissioning Glory

Governor of Lagos state, Akinwunmi Ambode is currently doused in the glory of commissioning projects he initiated in the last four years irrespective of the state of completion.

The governor is trying to write his own narrative about his performance in office rather than leave it to all and sundry after the messy fight that limited him to a one time in office.

Emerging details, however, indicate Ambode is taking no prisoners as he seeks to leave office in self – sparked off high praise.

The Governor is accused of edging out party leaders from the glory of commissioning projects executed with state fund.

‘’The governor is targeting party leaders he believed worked against his second term in office and sideline them from commissioning of projects in their locality’’ a source stated.

Societynow.ng confirmed that the norm is for the Governor or any political office holder commissioning any project to invite leaders of the party in the locality to be a part of the ceremony.

Sympathizers of the governor, however, argue that it’s his ‘’right’’ to be angry with those who worked against his political advancement.

This line of argument has sparked off arguments against and for this line of reasoning against the background that Ambode became Governor because the ambitions of others were sacrificed, he remains a member of the All Progressives Congress and he is commissioning projects funded with state and not person fund.

Those against the edging out of the ‘’leaders’’ by Ambode – at the commissioning of projects – insist the deed of limiting him to a one term in office is done and the governor should be a good party man and embrace the situation without any further rancor while those who align with the Governor counters that ‘’keeping his enemies close’’ would bear no good for Ambode at this point in time.

Ambode’s supporters claim those been sidelined are ferocious supporters of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the estranged godfather who is against the governor commissioning the projects in question.
