Emerging details have it that two billionaires are engaged in a fierce fight in Osun State.

They are billionaire businessman Adeleke and Wole Oke, the Federal House of Representatives member.

Sources revealed they are fighting over who controls the People’s Democratic Party in Osun State.

Billionaire Adeleke who is the father of popular singer Davido – David Adeleke – wants the party to remain beholden to him in the attempt to ensure his brother Demola gets another shot at the governorship position of Osun State.

Deep pocket Oke is said kicking against this move because he believes the party stands a better chance of producing the next governor of Osun state with another candidate.

‘’Interestingly Oke played a huge role allowing the Adeleke’s to determine the gubernatorial candidate of the PDP in the last gubernatorial election in Osun State. As the major financier of the party in Osun state, Oke lobbied the gubernatorial ticket for Deji who opted for the party to field his brother Demola’’ a source explained.

Insiders disclosed that Deji wants the arrangement to remain the same for Demola who was defeated by Governor Gboyega Oyetola to have another shot at the Governorship position but Oke is against the move.

‘’Oke wants the party to field a more serious candidate with wider appeal and has committed his resources to achieve in the face of instance by Deji Adeleke that his brother Demola remains the gubernatorial candidate of the PDP’’ Societynow.ng learned.

Sources confirmed that the rash of suspensions rocking the PDP in Osun state is part of the fallouts of the fight between the two billionaires.
