Dapo Abiodun Gives Huge Helping Hand To Ogun Council Chairmen

All the local government chairmen in Ogun state have received a huge performance boost.

This development is courtesy of a “helping hand” provided by Governor Dapo Abiodu.

The Governor reportedly provided all the chairmen with the allowance of N100million each to embark on desired projects in their localities.

The funds, made available in December of the year 2023, are tagged the highest of such interventions since he took office in May 2019 and secured re-election in May 2023.

Sources disclosed that the N100 million to each of them, are to allow the council chairmen to bring governance nearer to the grassroots with projects that complement those also done or being undertaken by the state government.

“The spending of the funds or projects to be executed are purely the prerogative of the council chairmen” according to those in the know.
