Details: Amosun’s Legacy Project Locked Up

One of the legacies of former Governor of Ogun State Ibikunle Amosun is locked.

The project is the Air-Conditioned pedestrian bridge constructed by the former Governor in his first term in office.

Amosun, 63, was the Governor of Ogun state from May 2011 to May 2019.

He served a two-term of four years each.

The Air-Conditioned pedestrian Bridge located in the Ita-Eko area of Abeokuta(the capital of Ogun) state was one of Amosun’s first set of projects.

But it was barely opened for public use.

“It was opened for less than two months before it was locked up and has been locked up ever since” societynow.ng gathered.

The project labeled mega-money project was locked up all through Amosun’s second term in office from 2015 to 2019.

And has remained locked up since Governor Dapo Abiodun took office on May 29, 2019.

The former Governor is now the Senator representing Ogun Central at the National Assembly.
