Akpabio Dumps PDP For APC At Big Stadium Ceremony
It is confirmed.
Senator Godswill Akpabio will defect from the People’s Democratic Party.
And the arrangements for him to cross over to ruling All Progressives Congress are already in place sources confirm to societynow.ng.
Akpabio is scheduled to officially defect to the ruling All Progressives Congress on August 9, 2018.

The venue for the defection ceremony is disclosed as Ikott Ekpene stadium, Akwa Ibom.
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and other top-level players in the present administration and ruling party are scheduled to formally welcome the former Governor into the APC.
Societynow.ng confirmed that ahead of the ceremony, Akapbio has met with high ranking APC officials such as Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, party national Chairman Adams Oshiomole and others.
Akpabio became a subject of an intense lobby by the APC leadership after it suffered a major loss with defections of Senators – including the Senate President -in its ranks to the rival PDP.
