Senatorial Ticket & Other Political Promises That Made Guber Aspirant Ogunbiyi Throw Weight Behind Demola Adeleke As Osun PDP Candidate

Akin Ogunbiyi, the aggrieved Osun state People’s Democratic party gubernatorial aspirant has accepted Senator Demola Adeleke has the rightful candidate of his political party.

This development is said to be as a result of a series of negotiations that earned the Mutual Benefits Assurance boss some political promises.

Societynow.ng learned Ogunbiyi was promised a Senatorial ticket by the leadership of the Osun State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party.

The insurance company chairman was also given the political consideration of producing the deputy governorship candidate from his camp.

The National Executive Council of PDP is said to be in the know of the promises to Ogunbiyi.

“The National PDP actually told Senator Adeleke and his backers to find a way to accommodate Ogunbiyi and ensure they secure the support of the Mutual Benefits Assurance Chairman” societynow.ng learned.

Osun state PDP sources confirmed to societynow.ng that Ogunbiyi and his entire structure have thrown weight behind Demola Adeleke’s ambition to become Governor of Osun state based on these understanding.
