Akeem Shodehinde’s Brother Takes Away Club Boss’ Property Piece Meal, As Movida Building Owner Kessington Adebutu Is Besieged With Offers From Interested Occupiers

Fresh information filtering in revealed that newly installed Asoju Oba of Lagos, Kessington Adebutu is currently besieged with offers from those interested in taking over the building that housed extinct fun place, Movida.

The Victoria Island venue is owned by the popular pool magnate.

Akeem Shodehinde, now deceased had taken over the place on lease arrangement.

His death is said to have terminated the arrangement in the midst of speculations of owing some outstanding payments. Akeem Shodehinde The fun place was not functioning for some time before Akeem passed on due to aggravation of the ill health that forced him out of business.

The flamboyant night club operator passed gave up the ghost in his lekki, Lagos home on Sunday May 10 2015.

Five months after his death sources confirmed owner of the building he operated from pool magnate is faced with barrage of offers from interested occupiers to take up the place.

Insiders revealed that as the promoter of the street lottery known as Baba Ijebu considers his offers, Sherrif the younger brother of the late Akeem Shodehinde has been taking properties used the shut down club business away piece meal.
Said to be making continual complains of ill health, sources claimed that Sherrif comes at intervals to move the properties.

It is not clear whether he is acting alone or in accord with plans of those the departed Shodehinde called family.

How far he has gone in taking out the properties used for Movida’s operations is also unclear at press time.
