Keystone Bank Appoints Mohammed Ciroma As New Head Marketing & Corporate Communications

Keystone Bank recently appointed Mr. Mohammed Ciroma the head of its Marketing and Corporate Communication division.

Mohammed Ciroma, a graduate of Law was born in March 1966. He schooled variously at Corona School, Lagos, Federal Government College, Azare and the University of Maiduguri.

Mohammed comes to Keystone bank with an enviable media pedigree. He was the Deputy Managing Director of THISDAY Newspapers, the Managing Director of DAILY TIMES Newspapers and most recently Director of Communications Resort International LTD, parent company of Bi-Courtney LTD.

Mohammed Ciroma’s appointment is part of Keystone bank’s continuous drive to meet its corporate goals by engaging first class professionals to man strategic positions. The acting Managing Director, Dr. Shehu K. Muhammad, an astute professional banker, is a product of this new thinking.

Mohammed Ciroma combines his media asset with experiences in banking and public service. He has served as a member of a Ministerial Committee on sources of revenue and funding for government parastatals. He was also a member of the governing council of the National Open University of Nigeria.

Mohammed Ciroma who started working life as a legal officer for IMB and later FCMB is married with children.

Meanwhile in a related development the Bank has announced the winners of the star prizes of three 18-seater buses in the banks just concluded Daily Awuf Promo.

While declaring the Abuja Zone Final Draw open, Mr. Shehu Abubakar, Executive Director Public Sector, stated that “the Grand Draw is the last of the different categories; the customers that qualify for this category have increased their deposit in savings account in the last three months and therefore qualified and stand the chance to win one of the three Brand New Nissan Urvan Buses”.

The three winners who emerged from the final draws that took place in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, Benin, Edo State and Uyo, Akwa-Ibom State were Abdullahi Hauwa Ahmad (Lafia Branch), Nwogba E. Solomon (Assumpta Avenue Branch, Owerri) and Samuel Dare Anuoluwapo (Ilorin Branch).

Apart from the 18-seater buses, 740 lucky customers at the different locations also walked away with consolation prizes such as DVD Players, Satellite TV Decoders, Rechargeable Fans and Generators, which according to the bank “is an indication of the bank’s continued support of its customers’ aspirational lifestyle”. In addition to these prizes, the bank had in the last 45days rewarded 900 customers with N10,000 each for increasing their account balance during the promo.

A customer of the bank, Mr. Aimola Omotade, who won a generator in Abuja, thanked the bank for “coming up with this laudable promo, which I believe has helped a lot of customers in the lower and middle cadre of the economy to upgrade their status. Keystone has demonstrated its unwavering commitment to meeting customer needs and aspirations through its Never Say Never philosophy”.

Also speaking on the wrap up of the Daily Awuf Promo, the Executive Director, Retail Banking, Mrs. Yvonne Isichei congratulated the three lucky winners of the buses stating that “We hope that the winners of these busses will put them to productive use that will result in improved economic status. By the conclusion of this promo and with the gifts that Keystone Bank has delivered, we have recognised our loyal customers and contributed to the uplifting of those in the retail space of the Nigerian economy”.
