Claims Asiwaju Tinubu Gets Highest Title In Egbaland On Nov 19 Fraudulent!

That is the chieftancy title the Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo intends to decorate political leader, Bola Tinubu on Monday, November 19 2012.

The event is part of the activities marking the 7th year anniversary of the notable monarch on the throne.

The Tinubu Media Organisation had hit town with the claim that Aare Ago, is the ‘highest title’ in Egba land, Ogun state.

Sources spoken to confirmed the title (and whoever holds it) is certainly neither among the first row nor second row seater in the palace of the Alake of Egbaland.

Like Balogun, there are Otun Balogun, Osi Balogun and co- but Balogun is the leader of that group. The Balogun is a front row seater in the palace of Alake and the others queue behind him. The Oluwo has others behind him as well..in the category of Aare- the Aare Ona Kakanfo is the leader of that line.. There is the Aare Onibon, Aare Ago and others. It is only the Aare Ona Kakanfo that seats in the front row others queue behind him…the Aare Ago is not and can never be the highest title in Egbaland’

Findings revealed the former governor’s media handlers are playing up the title for political reasons- sacrificing age long culture in the process.

The claim of ‘highest title in Egbaland’ is meant to shore up the Action Congress of Nigerian’s national leader’s claim to leadership of Yoruba race.

Egba land is a strategic part of the history of the Yoruba race.

Attempts by Asiwaju Tinubu to secure the spot of leadership of Yoruba land via esteem tittle Aare Onakakanfo, at the palace of the Alafin of Oyo, was widely rejected.

Checks revealed playing up the importance of ‘a subtitle’ as more important than, even ‘the main title’ in the palace of Alake is meant to serve as a substitute for the lost ‘Aare Ona Kakanfo’ title at the palace of the Aalain of Oyo.
