Why I Gave Appointment To My Daughter – Gov Okowa

Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has revealed why he gave an appointment to his daughter,Marilyn Daramola in his government.

Okowa appointed his daughter as the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Girl Child Matters.

Disclosing why he made the appointed during his quarterly media briefing on Tuesday, October 8, 2019, Governor Okowa stated that she is ‘’rightfully qualified’

Disclosing he does not owe anyone apologies for making the appointment, Okowa disclosed that ‘’It is not true that I have two of my daughters appointed. I have only one appointed and she is rightfully qualified.

‘’I do not have any daughter in social media, the one appointed for girl child education is rightfully qualified. I do not have any apologies for that because I know the quality of daughter that I have’’.

Marilyn, the appointee is married to Gbolahan Daramola from Owo, Ondo state.
