Emerging details have it that Governor of Oyo state Seyi Makinde is very wary of Minister for Sports Sunday Dare.
Societynow.ng revealed that this development is based on a conviction in the camp of Makinde that Dare is silently gunning for his seat.
Makinde is believed to be seeking a second term in office in the bid to put in place a worthy legacy.
Societynow.ng gathered that Makinde sees Dare as a contender to fear because, like him, he is an unconventional politician,

And the minister is said to have started leveraging on the position bring his party together and reach the grassroots in Oyo state.
Insiders disclosed Makinde is keeping a keen eye on Dare and on the lookout for means to ‘’bottle’’ the Minister and his gubernatorial ambition.
The checks made by societynow.ng revealed that the talks of gubernatorial ambition around Minister Dare have grown within his party, All Progressives Congress, to the point of forcing loyalists of other governorship aspirants to publicly declare in different for a that the party is yet to adopt a candidate in Oyo state,
Dare, a former chief of staff to powerful politician Asiwaju Tinubu was doused with talks of a gubernatorial ambition ahead of last general election before Bayo Adelabu emerged the governorship candidate of his party in Oyo state.
Adelabu lost to Makinde of the People’s Democratic Party in a keenly contested election.
