Why Bode Oyedele, Ogun Dep Gov’s Husband Is A Strong Contender To Replace Senator Bayo ‘’Pepper’’ Osinowo

Bode Oyedele, the husband of Noimot Salako-Oyedele is a strong contender for the Senatorial position made vacant with the death of influential politician Bayo Osinowo better known as Pepper.
Bode Oyedele is one of the silent powers in the politics of Lagos State operating from Ibeju-Lekki of Lagos State.
He has very strong roots in the party with credits of providing helping hands to many who have become principal actors in ‘’critical moments of their growth’’.
A former Permanent Secretary and one of the founding members of the Alliance for Democracy at a point moved out of the fold of the political association that transformed into the ruling All Progressives Congress to become a leader of the rival People’s Democratic Party in Lagos state.
He became boss of the very fertile Sure-P agency and left the PDP for APC in 2017.

The caliber of major players in the APC that welcomed in back to the party fold in the at the Acme road secretariat of the party is a huge statement in the high regard Oyedele is held.
Among those that welcomed him back to the party were the principal office holders at that time Chairman, Otunba Dele Ajomale, his deputy, Cardinal James Odunmbaku, Vice Chairman Chief Funso Ologunde, former Deputy Governors Femi Pedro and Abiodun Ogunleye, Asiwaju Olorunfunmi Basorun, Senator Gbenga Ashafa and one-time Commissioner for Finance, Hon. Wale Edun the checks by societynow.ng revealed.
Oyedele was one of the major players that political that gave ‘’Senator Pepper’’ victory over Gbenga Ashafa who wanted to the position as Senator representing Lagos East.
Insiders disclosed to societynow.ng that the push for Oyedele to replace Bayo Pepper at the Senate is on underground – though he is yet to make a visible push for it.
‘’Should be he really push for it, as in really show interest in that position Oyedele is in one of the strongest positions to clinch it’’ societynow.ng learned.
The death of Bayo Osinowo, the politician better known as better a couple of day ago threw the Lagos East Senatorial seat up for grab.
