Governor of Osun State Gboyega Oyetola needs help to contain the spread of the dreaded Coronavirus.

And he is not ashamed to beg to keep the state he governs safe.

Insiders disclosed that away from the total shut down that takes hold of the state today, Oyetola is making passionate pleas to individuals and corporate organizations donate in the bid to put in place an adequate – and efficient – health structure that would prevent damning repercussions in the fight against coronavirus.

Osun state has recorded two coronavirus cases and Governor Oyetola is keen to prevent a spread that would task and overrun the lean resources at hand.

Oyetola who inherited a poor state and is barely able to pay salaries of workers – after deductions of outstanding debts from gross revenue – is said to be using the dire situation of the finances of his state, and the overall implication of an ineffective tackling of Coronavirus in Osun state on the whole country, in his pleas for support from targetted individuals and organisations.
