“We Are Confident” – Otegbeye On Plan To Regain Status As ADC Guber Candidate

Biyi Otegbeye, the preferred choice of Senator Ibikunle Amosun as the next Governor of Ogun state has declared he will regain his mandate as the gubernatorial candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

Otegbeye’s candidature was recently invalidated by the judgment of a Federal High Court.

“We are confident that our appeal will be successful and our candidacy will be fully restored in no distant time” Otegbeye declared in a chat with media men on Sunday, December 4, 2022.

The politician who left the All Progressives Congress (APC) to become the gubernatorial candidate of the ADC was speaking on misrepresentation of recent happenings postured as a plan to return to APC.

A member of his extended family, Leke Otegbeye just left the ADC – along with some persons -to join the APC and the gubernatorial candidate spoke with the media to clarify this development.

“I have a mandate in my hand which I will protect with the prayers, goodwill and support of the good people of Ogun State. I will take that mandate to the polls on March 11th 2023 and convert it to election victory for my party, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and ultimately, the beginning of a greater Ogun State” Otegbeye insisted after emphasizing talks of a planned return to APC are fakenews.
