Updates From Different Parts Of Lagos As #EndSars Protesters Defy Sanwo-Olu’s 24hrs Curfew

Emerging details have it that protesters have defied the 24hrs curfew imposed in Lagos State by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

The curfew came into effect from 4.00 p.m with the Lagos State police command backing it with a ban on any form of protest.

But the checks done by societynow.ng revealed that the #EndSars protesters have ignored the directive.

At the Lekki, toll gate heartbeat of the protests in Lagos State, societynow.ng gathered that the protests have dug in.

The protesters insist that the idea of a curfew is that residents stay put wherever it met them.

“They are insisting that the curfew met them at the protest ground and they are staying put so as not to violate it” societynow.ng learned.

Sources confirmed that in Ogba, area of Lagos state the protesters have turned it into a walk, moving in a large crowd to different areas.

Societynow.ng gathered that in Igando, command, and Ipaja axis the protesters maintain position.

Visuals from mushin and Oshodi reveals the protests populated with people believed to have hijacked it clutching “sticks and cub”.

“They are not as organized as other places but they remain in place willing and ready for a bit of violence resistance if necessary” societynow.ng learned.

“Obviously, the order has not been heeded by those it is targeted at” a source pointed out.

N.B: The updates were compiled two hours and thirty minutes(2.30mins) after the curfew came into effect.
