Information filtering in alleged jitters are currently all over the spines of staffers at financial institution, Unity Bank – particularly those of the top echelon.

The reason for this attributed to ongoing investigation of the account books of the entity that sacked its managing director, Henry Semenitari for allegations of mismanagement of funds and gross abuse of office.

According to information available to societynowng.com what has been uncovered certainly doesn’t paint a rosy picture of the bank.

The bank is said to be looking in this direction as well and the Central Bank is said to be checking its book to determine how viable it is for the process.

Informants however further revealed that as things stand the management is considering reducing staff strength to shed cost and boost slipping lifeline.

The move is meant to retain only core workers that can multi task to form a compact team that can give the bank a fighting chance in its current gloomy situation.
A report by online platform thecapital attribute the mess stifling the bank’s operations as having roots in the inglorious spell that earned former Managing Director Semenitari sack.

The news spotter further revealed that aggrieved staffers facing possible sack are threatening to hit town with details of all the rot within if they are laid off.
It is not clear how the management intend to handle the threat, but information gathered here and there by societynowng.com revealed the bank with former president Ibrahim Babangida as major stakeholder have little choice but to go ahead with its plans to ensure its survival.
