Trumpeters Of Kingsley Kuku For Gov Disappear As Major Parties APC, PDP Continue Cat & Mouse Game In Face Of Winding Down Deadline For Candidates Emergence in Ondo Guber!

Suddenly all the noise have gone down.

And the interest in the subject has assumed the dimension of ”disappeared”.

That is the situation with the trumpeted gubernatorial ambition of Kingsley Kuku, the former presidential aide currently on self induced medical exile to avoid the clutches of anti corruption agency, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

The trumpeters of ”Kuku for Governor” have dispersed from the scene, along with their posters.

A Kingsley Kuku for governor campaign organisation has suddenly emerged after the EFCC declared the former presidential aide wanted for questioning over mega allegations of corruption in the handling of managing of Amnesty Fund which was under his purview.
The organisation had flooded the streets of Ondo with Kuku for Governor posters and hit town with statements of declaration while the subject of interest stayed put abroad but asserted he was merely on a medical trip.

”But now all the noise have died down” a source stated simply.

This is against the backdrop of continuing cat and mouse game between kuku’s political party, People’s Democratic Party and opposition All Progressives Congress on who blinks first in picking a candiate for the upcoming gubernatorial election.

Both PDP and APC are currently engaged in a waiting game of attempting to leverage on the other’s shortcoming depending on who first comes to town with a candidate.

”The two parties desperately need to win, PDP to retain control and APC to take over and add Ondo states under control of the party in charge of the Federal Government

”Both sides are seeking to exploit all available gains, so the ploy is to wait for the other to announce it’s candidate and produce a counter candidate taking into consideration any possible lapse in judgment of the other” a source provided deep insight

The wait has now entered into the last minutes phase as the July deadline for emergence of candidates in upcoming election winds down.

The election is scheduled for 2016 according to time table.

Amongst those jostling for the tickets on either sides are Eyitayo Jegede, Ajayi Boroface, Sola Ebiseni, Rotimi Akeredolu, Bamiduro Dada, Segun Abrahama, Tokunbo Modupe and others.

Further digs revealed as the wait continues, each of the aspirants on both sides are engaged in passionate lobby to ensure whatever happens they emerged flag bearers of their party in the coming gubernatorial election.

And according to information available, high level politicking which as earned some open disgrace, some quiet image damage and others enhanced chances is currently on in the political arena of Ondo state – and amongst stake holders outside of it.
