Ajuri Ngelale, the former spokesperson to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has announced the birth of his 5th child.

He made the announcement in a social media post on Saturday, January 25, 2025.

“I am humbled to announce that The Lord has blessed the Ngelale family once more with the arrival of our fifth child, who was born on my mother’s birthday following a most mercurial journey to health,” the former presidential aide, who announced his exit from his position in September 2024 via an indefinite leave, wrote on Saturday.

He added, “The birth of my fourth son, Micah Esoi-Obari Ngelale, evokes profound gratitude and joyful praise to our Creator, Whose mercy and lovingkindness are reaffirmed as endless and indescribable.”

Providing an update on the condition of his wife and the newborn, he disclosed, “both mother and child emerged from the process in good health.”

He rounded off his announcement with, “On behalf of Crystal, Ajuri II, Elijah, Malachi, Zoelle, and Micah, I thank you for your prayers and incessant support.”

Although he cited the need “to frontally deal with medical matters presently affecting my immediate, nuclear family” when leaving his appointment as Senior Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity in September, reports later emerged his exit was the result of an intense power tussle that caught him on the receiving end.
