The Chief of Defence Intelligence, Major-General E.A.P. Undiendeye, retains his position.
According to a statement signed by Sunday Dare, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Public Communication, all appointments take immediate effect.
President Tinubu expressed profound appreciation to the outgoing Chief of Defence Staff and the other departing service chiefs for their patriotic service and dedicated leadership. He urged the newly appointed military chiefs to justify the confidence reposed in them by deepening professionalism, vigilance, and comradeship within the Armed Forces of Nigeria.
