Though No Longer Dominant In Public Space, Insiders Insist TB Joshua’s Trouble Over Collapsed Synagogue Building That Killed Many Not Yet Over
The trouble haunting Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua – that’s the popular TB Joshua you know? – over his collapsed synagogue church building is not over.
Sources disclosed the Lagos state government is still working on prosecuting the popular pastor, his church, and builders for complicity in the collapsed of a six storey building that resulted in the death of over a hundred individuals – and injury of several others.
Joshua and his people were said to have delayed the move to face prosecution by filing a no case submission rather than defend charges against them.
The move is said to have turned futile as the court dismissed “the no case submission”.
Insiders disclosed that this development opens the way for the long-sought prosecution of the popular prophet and others for the September 12, 2014, tragic development.
Once upon a time very dominant in the public space, interest in the tragedy appears to have waned over time – but obviously not that of the Lagos state government.
TB Joshua outrightly refused to appear before a probe panel set up to investigate the case by the Lagos state government.
