Talks Governor Ibikunle Amosun’s Wife Funsho Wants To Become Senator Flood Ogun State

There is a spreading talk in Ogun state.

And at the centre of it is Olufunso, the beautiful wife of governor of Ogun state – Ibikunle Amosun.

The “talkers” claim the first lady has political ambition.

And is said to have firmly set her sight on becoming “a Senator”.

The talks claim the idea which was supposed to be kept within a tight circle of confidants was leaked by those against the move.

But checks by societynow with some very keen political watchers of Governor Amosun faults the emerging “rumour”.

They claim the Governor is too much a political realist to gift his wife such a position that is vital to protecting his “legacy” and assuring his political “future”.

“Amosun does not play political romanticism, even a casual study of his rise to power and actions since he became a top player would show that…and he has the case study of Remi Tinubu to deter him…so I can bet the talks are not correct” a source stated emphatically.

Amongst the theory that contradicts the growing talks is that the Governor actually wants to become a Senator to watch over his “successor” and become a bigger player in national and party politics – and not his wife.

However whether correct or not, societynow digs reveal the talks of the Governor’s wife Senatorial ambition continue to grow in Ogun state, especially in Abeokuta.

What sparked off the talks however remain unclear.
