Taking The Fight To The Enemy!…Untold Story As Ladi Adebutu Plots Dumping PDP For APC
Charles Oyelesi
There is a new talk in the political circle of Ogun state,
Ladi Adebutu, the gubernatorial aspirant adopted by the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun state – but not recognized by the law – is plotting a defection to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Political watchers in Ogun state interprets the plot by Adebutu as ‘’taking the fight to the camp of the family’’.
Societynow.ng learned that Adebutu is believed to be plotting the move to weaken the APC from within as a ‘’bonafide’’ member of the party ahead of the 2023 gubernatorial election.
APC and its gladiators including Governor Dapo Abiodun who is serving his first term in office remain the biggest threat to Adebutu’s intense passion to govern Ogun state.
Sources insist that Adebutu’s game plan is to weaken the APC and achieve his ambition on an alternative political party.
‘’Of course, Adebutu and co-travelers would also be on the lookout for the almost impossible chance of actually getting the opportunity to realize his gubernatorial ambition on the platform of APC coming to reality’’ a source chipped.
Societynow.ng gathered that Adebutu is emboldened to make the move the recent return of Adekunle Akinlade, the gubernatorial candidate of the Allied People’s Movement (APM) and his political structure.
Akinlade who enjoys fierce backing from immediate past governor Ibikunle Amosun returns to the APC to have another shot at becoming the governor of Ogun State in the year 2023.
