Sacked speaker of Delta state House of Assembly, Victor Ochei is neck deep in restrategising.

And all his efforts are geared towards a single goal- appeasing former governor of the state serving prison term abroad, James Ibori.

Findings revealed the ex state Delta state Chief Executive in jail along with wife and mistress for corrupt enrichment amongst other crimes remains a major force in the politics of the state.

Victor Ochei
Information revealed he was the political boost that transformed Ochei speaker of the state house of assembly.

Those conversant with politics of the state claim, Ochei’s removal wouldn’t have been possible without his go ahead- even as he remains incarcerated.

Specifics of bust up that resulted in the former speaker’s loss of the support of Ibori’s backing are not clear at press time, but insiders generally labelled it ‘all about his ambition to succeed incumbent governor, Emmanuel Uduaghan’.

As fore told by societynowng.com’s report (Delta Speaker, Victor Ochei’s Attempt To Salvage Guber Ambition In Jeopardy Over Allegations Of N Multi-Billion Fraud With Resignation Move) Ochei resigned on Tuesday March 18 to starve off impeachment moves. He was replaced by Mr Peter Onwusanya

Further investigation however revealed that Ochei and his supporters are working on regaining Mr Ibori’s support to foil further persecution.

There are strong indications investigations into alleged multi billion contract scam against him might be stepped up- resulting in possible arrest and detention. And defeating the objective of his hurried resignation.

It is believed appeasing Ibori would call off forces against Ochei, as the former speaker and his henchmen restragises on ways to stage a ferocious relaunch at achieving his ambition.

How well this strategy works out remains to be seen.
