Calabar, South-South Nigeria is one of Nigeria’s major tourist destinations and plays host to some of the most significant events in the country. This past weekend saw musicians, journalists, media entrepreneurs, artists and other professionals in the entertainment industry flock to the ancient city for the Calabar Entertainment Conference.

The conference in its 6th edition is the largest gathering of entertainment professionals in the South-South region of the country and this year’s event themed “Discover, Define, Rebrand” featured speakers like seasoned on-air-personality & media consultant, Olisa Adibua, Strategic comms consultant & event planner Edi Lawani, award-winning entertainment journalist Joey Akan and also international performers such as Dj Lisa Li from France and Lorraine Lionheart from South Africa.
