Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has weighed into the raging talk of which country makes the best jollof rice.

And his stance is very different from that of Minister for Information, Lai Mohammed.

The Vice President says “of course we know Nigeria’s Jollof Rice is the best”.

The minister for information while making an appearance on a CNN programme had given the glory to Senegal.

The nation reacted harshly to this development with abuses which labeled it “unpatriotic”.

Many labelled the minister’s assertion on a world platform a national error.

The nation’s number two man has however come out to control the damage by giving the award to Nigeria.

Mr Osinbajo made his declaration during a programme by Covenant Christian Centre – The Platform.
