As part of its commitment to embedding responsible business practices into its operations, NNPC Limited recently held a strategic engagement with the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC).

This consultation forms a crucial step in the development of NNPC Limited’s Corporate Human Rights Policy under its Sustainability Programme.

This engagement also underscores the company’s commitment to integrating human rights into its operations, setting a new standard for the oil and gas industry.

Led by NNPC Limited’s Head of Sustainability, Chinedu Igwe, the NNPC delegation emphasized the company’s goal of balancing profitability with respect for human rights.

The Executive Secretary / CEO of NHRC, Dr. Anthony Okechukwu Ojukwu, SAN, commended NNPC Limited’s leadership and pledged support for the initiative, which aligns with international best practices and national priorities.
