Media Gal, Toke Makinwa Snubs Ex Hubby, Maje Ayida & His High Profile Lawyers As She Promotes Controversial Book “On Becoming” In Ghana

Media Gal, Toke Makinwa has snubbed the warning of ex hubby Maje Ayida and his team of high profile lawyers.

Maje, one of the main cast in Toke’s publication ‘’On Becoming’’ is said to have engaged a team of high profile lawyers in Nigeria and the United kingdom to take on his estranged wife over ‘’ false assertions’’ made against him her book.

The lawyers – Carter- Ruck and Kemi Pinheiro – had written to Toke to withdraw the allegations against Ayida and issue a public apology in three national newspapers.

Part of the conditions also include a total recall of the book and a halt on promotions of the publication.

A letter to this effect was reportedly delivered to Makinwa on Monday December 23 2016.

Though it is unclear whether the popular media gal received the legal correspondence but reports concerning it became public earlier this week.

But despite this, Toke who was scheduled to promote the controversial book with a ‘’public reading and media rounds in Ghana’’ yesterday – Friday February 3 2017 – went ahead with the event.
