Luxury Real Estate Developer Sujimoto Ogundele Declared Wanted

Olasijibomi Suji Ogundele, the well-known real estate developer behind Sujimoto Luxury Construction Limited, has been declared wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The anti-graft agency made the declaration on Friday, September 5, 2025—a public holiday—over allegations of diversion of funds and money laundering.

According to EFCC sources, the 44-year-old developer, who resides in the exclusive Banana Island area of Lagos, was declared wanted after several unsuccessful attempts to bring him in for questioning.

Widely known for offering luxury high-rise apartments and positioning himself as a face of modern real estate in Nigeria, Ogundele’s case has now attracted public attention following the EFCC’s announcement.
