“Just Like Before” Witnesses Describe How Embattled Oil Baron Jide Omokore Stormed David Jemibewon’s Mother’s Burial In Famous Convoy Of Luxury Cars, With Security Details

“Just like before” witnesses described how troubled deep pocket Jide Omokore attended the burial ceremony of Madam Emfie, the 106yrs old mother of influential Nigerian, David Jemibewon.

The retired military officer more fondly called ”General” far and wide staged a venue of big players from all walks of life- home and abroad- for his mother on Friday, August 05 2016.

The talk of the town affair held at the Iya Gbede, Ijumu Local Council area, Kogi state home town of the Jemibewons. Societynowng.com confirmed one of the attendees was troubled Oil Baron, Jide Omokore.

And sources confirmed the subject of grand corruption investigation threatening a take over of all his properties ”arrived just like he normally does to high profile events”

Witnesses disclosed he attended the talk of the town in a convoy of about nine wondrous cars.

”He was his usual self” a source stated.

According to information available the promoter – along with runaway partner, Kola Aluko- of heavily indicted business concerns in mega fraud allegation that rocked the petroleum sector Atlantic Energy Drilling Concept, Energy Resources Group and Seven Energy had about 3 armed guards on hand for security.

”He came with his famous convoy of attention catching luxury cars” a source stated.

Sources claim however claim the undergoing prosecution oil baron out on bail kept pretty much to himself at the event.

”He didn’t mix with other guests that much” a source confirmed.

Information revealed Omokore who has had properties seized by anti corruption agency from self and former banker wife, Angela attended the burial as a show of respect and gratitude to a man quietly helping him to overcome his troubles with the authorities.

Sources claim he is attempting a renegotiation of terms to refund allegedly stolen funds to stop his prosecution and ultimately evade jail term – as well as halting ongoing moves for blanket seizure of his properties home and abroad and General David Jemibewon retired is believed to be lending a helping hand.

Initial agreements were collapsed by the government when later revelations showed what he agreed to return was just a fraction of mind blowing sum at stake.

His release based on court ordered bail after days of detention afforded him the opportunity to attend the burial of Madam Emife.

The event was the first major outing he surfaced at since he got out of detention.
