Just Back From London, Taye Currency Goes Into Self Isolation After Putting Many At Risk Of Coronavirus By Attending Massive Political Rally Hosted By Gov Makinde

Singer Taiye Currency – real names Taiwo Adebisi – has gone in self-isolation after putting many at the risk by attending the massive political rally hosted Governor of Oyo State Seyi Makinde.
Makinde in a widely condemned move hosted the southwest rally of the People’s Democratic Party in Oyo state at a time other states where vigorous campaigning for social distancing in the fight against the dreaded Coronavirus (Covid-19) causing global apprehension.

The Federal Government issued announced a travel ban that would come into effect at a later date in the efforts to limit the disruption in the lives of travelers.
In the meantime, travelers from the countries were urged to go on self-isolation for 14days immediately they come into the country to avoid putting others at risk of infection.
Taiye Currency, who is the Special Adviser on Culture and Tourism to the Oyo state Governor came straight from one of the places on the travel ban list (London) – before it came into effect – and went straight into a massive political rally hosted by Makinde.
Currency hobnobbed with many at the rally as a major entertainer at the event.

The rally played host to thousands of party members from far and near and enterprising individuals who tried to make a living from the gathering peddling their wares and services.
Interestingly, Makinde who is the only governor elected on the platform of the PDP in the South West region hosted the rally after a coronavirus infected individual reported stayed in the state for 72 hours.
