Investigation Into EFCC Boss, Ibrahim Lamorde Begins
A quiet investigation into the activities of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission chairman, Ibrahim Lamorde and that of the agency has commenced.
President Muhammadu Buhari reportedly ordered the anti grafts investigators to be investigated in the face of huge allegations.
Vanguard reports the investigation is being coordinated by the office of the National Security Adviser and involves officials from the National Intelligence Agency and the Department of State Services.

A source in the office of the National Security Adviser explained that the investigation commenced before the widely publicised petition by Dr. George Uboh, Chief Executive Officer, Panic Alert Security Services alleging that Ibrahim Lamorde, Chairman, EFCC through various fraudulent Acts/Omissions could not account for funds seized from victims and funds from sale of confiscated properties amounting to over one trillion Naira.
