Available information revealed the financial book of the Uzoma Dozie-led bank to be in a grave situation.

Diamond Bank is founded by Uzoma wealthy father, Pascal Dozie.

A number of loans facilities guaranteed by the top management members of the bank at one point or the other is said to have been responsible for the bank present travail.

Information sourced by societynow.ng showed the tragic tale of the bank financial records has pitched the troubled managing director of the bank Uzoma Dozie and Alex Otti, his predecessor against each other.

Alex Otti ran Diamond Bank bank between March 2011 and October 2014.

Alex Otti is currently running for Abia state governor on the platform of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA).

According to sources the unrecovered bad loans are said to have occasioned the mess the bank is battling to contain.

Findings revealed Dozie and his team are pointing accusing fingers at Alex Otti the as not diligent enough in the way and manner he gave out a number of loan facilities when he the MD of the bank.

The former bank chief executive is alleged to have guaranteed a number of loan facilities running into billions of naira that is currently giving the present team a headache of sort.

Those close the former MD are, however, not taking the allegations lightly as they equally hit town with damaging information of “not competent to run the bank against” troubled bank boss, Uzoma, a source volunteered.

Uzoma is being fingered as making management calls that compounded the situation he met on ground when he assumed leadership position at the bank.

Otti’s backers insist that the situation afflicting Diamond bank has more to do with “lack of proper managerial skill” than any other thing.

Both the Alex Otti and Uzoma Dozie’s side are currently trading accusations over who is most culpable in the situation that has placed Diamond Bank in dire need of fresh fund to avoid going under.

Societynow,ng learned to worsen the situation, stakeholders within and outside the bank are said to be taking sides as the allegations and counter allegations rage.
