Funke Kuti, the lady with a golden heart who and one of the most loved persons around reveals how she survived Emergency heart surgery in a post titled ” THIS IS MY STORY, THIS IS MY TESTIMONY”

The post by the shots caller at Events and Brands handler, F.K Management reads …

——————————
I am a miracle child!
On this day 21/12/2017 last year I had to have an emergency heart surgery because it was discovered my main artery supplying blood to my heart was 99.9% blocked!! Today makes it 1 year post surgery and I thank God for my life.

For years I had been treated for asthma – not knowing that my artery was getting blocked day by day and the lack of adequate oxygen used to cause the spasms and pain in my chest – diagnosed as asthma – even in the UK.

The spasms got worse on the 17th December and a cousin of mine told me to go to @firstcardiologyconsultants in Ikoyi but I refused because I said it can’t be heart issues! How can?
I wasn’t over weight, I ate healthy, and I’m still kinda young ( 😂)

Anyway went in on Monday 18th Dec and they did a test all the other Doctors had never done for me before – a ‘Stress Echo’ Test and that was where they found that my artery was not supplying blood to my heart and I needed a STENT passed in IMMEDIATELY or else!!’…

They prepped and went in on that Monday
BUT…. Dr Yemi Johnson said it was worse than they thought!
99.9% blocked and he couldn’t take the risk without a heart-bypass surgeon around. And that would be the around 9th Jan. Wahala – they couldn’t let me go because another attack could be fatal.

Then lo and behold @DrYemi learnt a heart bypass surgeon was in town -his friend and colleague Dr Yele Aluko So After speaking to him Dr Yele flew in from Abuja and the Team went to work on 21st December 2017
———————————

For a minute the apprehension of total separation of the artery which would lead to a heart attack happened but the ‘finger of God’ and my amazing Doctors brought it back for the stent to be inserted – thus avoiding me having my chest cut open for open heart surgery

Onise Iyanu (Miracle Worker)
Am I not a MIRACLE? I am to the glory of God!
I am forever grateful to all the Doctors, Nurses, My family and friends for all the prayers and support.
