“He Was My Friend Before Before, We Haven’t Seen In 10yrs” Mike Ozekhome’s Reason For Mistaking NAN Boss Bayo Onanuga’s Name As Adenuga

Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Mike Ozekhome made a public gaffe.

He recognised Bayo Onanuga the managing Director of News Agency Of Nigeria (NAN) as Bayo Adenuga at a public event.

And his reason when the audience drew his attention with loud corrections?

‘’He was my friend before before, we have not seen in ten years..so i think i

should be excused’’ the cerebral mind informed the audience.

Ozekhome was the chief speaker at the 2016 edition of Authority Newspaper Awards held in Abuja when the mistaken identity occurred.

The event held this evening – Thursday January 26 2017.

Onanuga acted as representative of Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed.

Authority Newspaper is owned by politician and oil man, Ifeanyi Ubah.
