Gov Olusegun Mimiko, Guber Aspirant Eyitayo Jegede Abandoned Party’s Directive To Congratulate Rotimi Akeredolu For Reasons Best Known To Them… But Face No Sanction

Emerging details have it without recourse, Governor Olusegun Mimiko and People’s Democratic Party’s gubernatorial candidate Eyitayo Jegede congratulated candidate of rival All Progressives Congress Rotimi Akeredolu for winning the Ondo state gubernatorial election against party .

And also jointly ensured the party did not contest the victory of Akeredolu despite PDP’s initial allegations of electoral malpractices.

But they face no sanction according to disclosures made by national spokes person for the party Dayo Adeyeye.

The party mouth piece insists the position of Mimiko and Jegede was respected because ‘’they are stake holders in the party’’.
Though he claimed the duo took the position that is against party’s directive for ‘’reasons best known to them’’
