FRSC Increases Efforts To Reduce Road Crashes
across the nation through training and retraining of drivers
FRSC deepens its crash reduction efforts across the nation through training and retraining of drivers.
In Jigawa State, the Sector Commander Corps Commander UM Matazu collaborated with the Local Government Service Commission to organize a one-day capacity building training for local government drivers.
The training, held at the Manpower Development Institute (MDI), Dutse, focused on enhancing safe driving culture and equipping drivers with modern techniques that promote safety on Nigerian roads.
The programme covered critical areas, including Driver’s psychology, defensive driving, first aid and rescue, and driving under special conditions.
Dignitaries at the event included the representative of the Emir of Dutse, Marafan Dutse Alh. Muktari Wada, and Alh. Ibrahim Wada, who represented the Chairman of the Local Government Service Commission.
