Fashola Speaks On Tinubu’s Presidential Ambition
The Minister came to political reckoning on the strength of Tinubu’s clout
Minister for Works Babatunde Fashola has aired his views on the much-talked-about Presidential ambition of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Fashola who succeeded Tinubu as the Governor of Lagos State disclosed that “I saw him last week; he didn’t tell me he is running for office and to the best of my knowledge, the last statement he made about it was that people would know in January,”
The Minister who came to political reckoning on the strength of Tinubu’s clout made the disclosure as a guest on Channel’s Television Programme’s Hard Copy on Friday.
Prodded further the Senior Advocate of Nigeria stated that “No, I didn’t ask him, I only went to see how well he was doing.
“He has issued a statement that I will speak in January, so let’s wait for his speech.”
