Famous thespian Segun Remi is dead.
He was better known as Chief Kanran, a wealthy character he repeatedly portrayed in movies.
Chief Kanran was the last of the old-guard
actors with a strong foundation in stage plays.
He left acting to establish a church, which he pastored until he breathed his last on the morning of Friday, August 15, 2025.
He was 68years old.
