Barely twenty-fours after his son reportedly escaped assassination, the mega-investment of a former governor has gone up in flames.

The Radio station of a former Governor of Sokoto State, Attahiru Bafarawa was razed on Thursday.

The development comes barely 24hrs after his Sagir Bafara reportedly escaped an assassination attempt according to information monitored by SocietyNow.Ng on Newswirengr.com.

The former governor’s son supervises operations at the Radio Station named Garuwa F.M.

The report monitored SocietyNow.Ng stated the fire which gutted Garuwa F.M started from “an electrical appliance.”

According to Newswirengr.com a staff, Malam Umar Baffa provided the information.

“I saw a tiny flame of fire coming out of the Air Conditioner’s fuse and hurriedly rushed out to trip off the electricity to avoid escalation.

“However, when I got back, the whole section of the Recording Studio, Live Programme and the rest were already covered with a thick smoke.

“Those of us on duty made frantic efforts to rescue what we can, but the velocity of the fire was so ravaging that we had to save ourselves,” the news platform quoted the staff.
